VOTE FEST 2026 TO CONNECT CANDIDATES AND VOTERS AHEAD OF NOVEMBER ELECTION

Nonpartisan community event brings candidates and voters together to promote education, engagement and informed participation ahead of the November election

Columbus-area voters will have an opportunity to meet candidates, learn more about offices on the November ballot and receive voter information during Vote Fest 2026, a nonpartisan voter education and get-out-the-vote event.

A Call to Talk, A Call to Action and community partners will host the event Monday, Oct. 12, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Valley Healthcare, 1600 Fort Benning Road.

Organizers say Vote Fest 2026 is designed to encourage voter education, participation and engagement ahead of the November election.

All candidates appearing on the November ballot have been invited to participate, regardless of political affiliation. Candidates will be provided space for tents, tables, campaign materials and opportunities to interact directly with voters.

A microphone and riser will also be available for candidates or their representatives to address those attending.

In addition to meeting candidates, voters will have an opportunity to learn more about the duties and responsibilities of the various offices appearing on the ballot. Organizers say the educational component is intended to help residents make informed decisions when they cast their ballots.

The event will also feature music, media participation, refreshments and voter information.

Vote Fest 2026 is free and open to the public.
