In a brilliant show of defense and teamwork, the Lady Tigers not only went undefeated through the state tournament but also shut out their last two opponents. In the semifinals, they took on Northside and emerged with a convincing 9-0 win. Their next challenge was Eastside in the championship, where they blanked their opponents once again, finishing 8-0. Senior Lani Dansby was unstoppable on the field, going 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, proving instrumental in sealing the Tigers' victory. With a 34-3 season record and 9-1 in their region, the Lady Tigers have secured their place in school history.
The celebrations continued over at Carver High School, where the Carver Tigers cheerleading squad took home the 1st place trophy in the 2A Division Game Day Competition. Under Coach Harbison’s leadership, the team delivered an award-winning performance marked by skill, spirit, and passion.
