According to the Street Committee, the newly appointed Chief of Police, Stoney Mathis, has had a rude awakening. It is alleged that Mathis attempted to either demote or force Deputy Chief William Rawn to retire because of his age. The street committee has learned that Rawn has filed a Fair Treatment complaint against him. The word on the street is there may be a lawsuit on the way.
