Recipients Selected for the 6th Annual “Lift Her Up” Awards

The recipients of the sixth annual “Lift Her Up” Awards have been selected, organizers announced this week, continuing a tradition of honoring women of color in the Tri-City area for their leadership, resilience, and service to others.

Presented annually by The Courier Eco Latino Newspaper, the “Lift Her Up” Award recognizes women whose professional work and community engagement reflect a commitment to encouraging, inspiring, and uplifting other women. Now in its sixth year, the award has become a signature initiative spotlighting the often-unsung contributions of women making a measurable impact across Columbus, Phenix City, Fort Moore, and surrounding communities.

The 2026 award recipients will be officially recognized during the 22nd Annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon hosted by Davis Broadcasting, Inc.. The luncheon is scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center and is expected to draw community leaders, business professionals, and advocates from across the region.

Each honoree will also be featured in the 2026 Women’s Empowerment magazine, a commemorative publication produced by The Courier Eco Latino Newspaper. The magazine will be distributed to attendees at the luncheon and will highlight the personal journeys, professional achievements, and community service of this year’s recipients.

Organizers said the awards and accompanying publication are designed not only to celebrate individual excellence, but also to inspire future generations by showcasing the power of purpose-driven leadership and collective uplift among women of color.
