The Muscogee County Clerk of Superior and State Courts Office announced it will host a Pop-Up Passport Event on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Columbus Government Center in downtown Columbus.
The event is designed to provide residents with convenient access to passport services. Individuals will be able to apply for a new U.S. passport book or passport card for travel, educational opportunities, or other international needs.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Government Center, located at 100 10th St., second floor.
Applicants are encouraged to complete their passport applications in advance by visiting travel.state.gov to help streamline the process. Staff will be available on-site to assist attendees, review required documentation, and answer questions to ensure applications are completed accurately.
Officials said the event reflects the Clerk’s Office commitment to accessibility and community engagement by offering extended hours and a walk-in format. No appointments are required; however, space may be limited, and early arrival is recommended.
