As Muscogee County prepares for the May 2026 municipal elections, voters are encouraged to review their assigned polling locations following several precinct updates announced by the Muscogee County Board of Elections and Registration.
Election officials say polling sites occasionally change when facilities become unavailable or no longer meet the operational needs of a voting precinct. State election guidelines require that voters receive notice at least one year in advance when polling locations are relocated.

According to Nancy Boren, director of Elections and Registration, the updates are part of ongoing efforts to ensure voting locations remain accessible, efficient and capable of serving residents throughout the county.
