The Columbus, Georgia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc. recognized the leadership and generosity of the Platinum 36 Gentlemen of Distinction during a recent Beautillion Community Giving Event, where $20,000 in charitable contributions was awarded to four local nonprofit organizations.

The funds were raised through the chapter’s 24th Biennial Beautillion, a longstanding program designed to develop leadership, service and excellence among young men. As part of the initiative, participants selected organizations to receive proceeds from their collective fundraising efforts.

Each of the following nonprofits received $5,000:

·       The African Children’s Healthcare Fund, represented by Dr. Vincent Naman

·       The Columbus Dream Center, represented by the Rev. Vincent Allen and Mrs. Beatrice Allen

·       Feeding the Valley Food Bank, represented by CEO Frank Sheppard

·       Easterseals West Georgia, represented by CEO Lakisha Taylor

Representatives from each organization attended the event and expressed appreciation for the contributions, highlighting the meaningful impact the funds will have on their respective missions and the broader community.

Organizers said the giving event reflects the core values of the Beautillion program, which emphasizes scholarship, leadership development and civic responsibility. The Platinum 36 honorees were commended for their commitment to service and their role in continuing a legacy of community engagement.

“Their efforts demonstrate what is possible when young leaders are empowered to make a difference,” organizers noted.

The Beautillion program, hosted biennially by Jack and Jill of America Inc., remains a cornerstone initiative in Columbus, cultivating the next generation of leaders while supporting vital community organizations.
