More than 1,300 attendees gathered March 13 at the Columbus Georgia Convention & Trade Center for the 22nd Annual Davis Broadcasting K92.7 Women’s Empowerment Luncheon, an event celebrating the achievements, leadership and resilience of women across the community.
Hosted by Davis Broadcasting Inc., the annual luncheon has become one of the region’s most anticipated gatherings focused on inspiration, professional networking and community empowerment.
The program featured acclaimed actress, director and producer Tasha Smith as the keynote speaker. Smith delivered an uplifting message encouraging women to embrace their purpose, remain resilient through challenges and continue lifting one another as they pursue personal and professional success.
A special appearance was made by U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff, who addressed the audience and praised the contributions of women leaders throughout Georgia and the Columbus community.

The luncheon also included musical performances that added a celebratory tone to the afternoon. National recording artist Isabel Davis performed for attendees, while vocalist Emallie Heard delivered a moving musical tribute honoring the legacy of late soul singer Angie Stone.
Organizers said the event continues to serve as a platform for recognizing women who lead, inspire and create meaningful change within their communities.
Now in its 22nd year, the Women’s Empowerment Luncheon draws hundreds of professionals, community leaders, entrepreneurs and students each year, reinforcing its mission to encourage leadership, celebrate accomplishments and promote unity among women across the region.
