MCSD Schools to Remain Virtual on Wednesday Due to Weather

All Muscogee County School District (MCSD) schools will operate on a virtual schedule Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, due to forecasted weather conditions, the district announced Tuesday. District offices will also be closed.

In addition to the shift to virtual learning, the following changes remain in effect:

• All field trips scheduled for Wednesday are canceled.
• All afterschool activities, including athletics, are canceled.

The School Board meeting originally set for Tuesday evening will proceed virtually and can be viewed on the district’s YouTube channel.

District officials will provide an update regarding plans for Thursday, Jan. 23, by 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
