GALEO and the Latino Community Fund will host the 3rd Annual Latino Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgia State Capitol in downtown Atlanta. The event aims to celebrate the contributions and growing influence of Georgia’s Latino community while providing attendees with opportunities to engage in the legislative process.
As one of the fastest-growing and youngest demographic groups in the state, Latinos play an increasingly significant role in shaping Georgia’s future. Latino Day at the Capitol offers participants a chance to meet elected officials, learn about legislative advocacy, and strengthen their civic engagement.
"This event is a chance to celebrate the strength, contributions, and bright future of the Latino community in Georgia," GALEO organizers said.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required. Community members interested in participating can sign up in advance to secure their spot.
