Since 1990, Fountain City Classic, Inc. (FCC) has been more than a game—it’s a movement. What began as a spirited HBCU football rivalry has grown into a legacy of scholarship, cultural pride, and community investment. For 35 years, FCC has united alumni, families, and partners across the Southeast to celebrate Black excellence and expand access to higher education.

FCC raises scholarship funds for students attending Fort Valley State University (FVSU), Albany State University (ASU), and other accredited institutions nationwide. With the support of our donors, we’ve awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to deserving students—fueling futures through education, leadership, and opportunity.

 Every year, thousands of bright, motivated students face a heartbreaking truth: they’ve earned admission to college but lack the financial resources to attend or stay enrolled. For many, even a few hundred dollars can be the difference between a college degree and a deferred dream.

 At Fountain City Classic, Inc., we believe no student should have to put their future on hold because of financial barriers. Our scholarships directly support students attending Fort Valley State University, Albany State University, and other accredited colleges—students who are often first-generation, high-achieving, and determined to succeed against the odds.
