As Georgia voters prepare for the Nov. 3, 2026, general election, the Courier Eco Latino Newspaper encourages residents to become informed, review their ballots and make their voices heard at the polls.
Early voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 13, at designated polling locations, giving voters an opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.
One important reminder: Voters are permitted to bring a handwritten or printed list of their selections into the voting booth. Preparing a list of preferred candidates and responses to ballot questions can help voters remember their choices and vote with confidence.

However, Georgia law prohibits the use of cellphones and other electronic devices inside the enclosed voting area. Voters are encouraged to review their selections before entering and bring their notes on paper rather than relying on their phones.
With several important races and proposed constitutional amendments appearing on the ballot, taking time to research the candidates and understand the issues is essential.

The Courier Eco Latino Newspaper believes an informed electorate is the foundation of a strong democracy. Our responsibility is not to tell readers how to vote, but to provide information that helps them make thoughtful, independent decisions.
On the amendments we recommend voting No on 1 - Land, No on 2 - Judges and Yes on 3 - 911
The following information is presented as a public service to help voters better understand the choices before them.
Remember: Your vote is your voice. Your voice is your power. And an informed vote is one of the most important ways to help shape the future of our community.
