Designer Handbag Bingo Fundraiser Promises Fun, Fashion and Community Impact

The Delta Life Development Foundation Inc. is inviting the public to an afternoon of fun and fashion at its upcoming Designer Handbag Bingo fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Butler Pavilion at St. Francis-Emory Hospital, 2300 Manchester Expressway.

Doors will open at 1 p.m., with bingo games running from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a total of 16 rounds of bingo, each offering a chance to win stylish prizes from popular handbag designers.

Admission includes one bingo card for Game 1. Additional cards for Games 2 through 14 will be available for $5 each. The final two rounds—dubbed the “Mystery Bag Games”—will feature high-end designer handbags, with cards priced at $20 each.

Attendees will be provided with a complete list of available handbags upon entry, and all prize bags will be on display before the games begin. Light refreshments are included with admission.

Guests can choose from general admission, reserved seating or reserved tables for groups. Bingo card bundles are available for advance purchase, which organizers encourage in order to minimize wait times. Cards also will be available for purchase at the door.

“This is more than just a game night—it’s a celebration of community and an opportunity to support local impact,” said LaRae Dixon Moore, a representative for the Delta Life Development Foundation. “The funds raised will directly support our programs that empower youth, promote civic engagement and celebrate cultural awareness.”

All attendees must be 21 or older to participate.

The Delta Life Development Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing charitable services and supporting initiatives that meet the evolving needs of the Columbus community.
