The Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Columbus, Georgia Chapter announced it will host a Black Maternal Health Expo on Saturday, April 11, 2026, aimed at educating and empowering families across the tri-city area.
The free event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, with vendors opening at 9:45 a.m., at the Comer Gym & Recreation Center.

Organizers said the expo is designed to raise awareness about Black maternal health and provide access to critical resources and support. Attendees will be able to connect with local vendors, receive health education materials and participate in giveaways.
The event will feature a panel discussion with healthcare professionals, including midwives, OB-GYNs and other specialists, who will address key issues affecting maternal health in the Black community. Panelists are expected to share expertise, answer questions and offer guidance to attendees.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend. Organizers said the event will offer valuable information for expectant mothers, parents, healthcare workers and residents interested in improving maternal health outcomes.
