WTVM’s Cheryl Renee Inducted into Silver Circle for 25 Years in Television
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has honored longtime WTVM anchor Cheryl Renee with induction into the prestigious
University of Georgia track star and Paris Olympian Aaliyah Butler recently signed a NIL deal with Nike.
Butler becomes only the second sprinter, including Mia Brahe-Pederson with the University of Southern California to earn a Name, Image and Likeness deal with the company.
Butler was able to play a big part in helping her team qualify for the final to achieve the gold medal in the 4x400 meter alongside her teammates.
Wane and Valerie Hailes, owners of the Courier-Eco Latino newspaper, Butler's god-parents traveled to Paris to support her.
