A View From A Pew: “Don’t Come Down From Where God Took You”

Come up here… and then don’t lose your mind trying to go back down there.

There’s something powerful about elevation. When God lifts you—when He stretches you, grows you, and positions you—you’ve got to understand that elevation comes with separation. And some of us are struggling because God has taken us up here, but we keep trying to answer voices that are still down there.

Let me help you: Anybody talking about you behind your back is already in position… behind you. And you cannot trip over what’s behind you.

God didn’t bless you to rise just so you could spend your energy responding to people who haven’t grown, haven’t stretched, and haven’t even met Him at the level you now know Him. What does it look like for you—80 stories up—to get on an elevator, come all the way down, just to argue with somebody who was never assigned to your future in the first place?

No… you stay where God put you. Because when you know who you are, you don’t have to answer everybody. When you know whose you are, you don’t have to defend everything. And when God has blessed your life, you don’t have to explain your elevation to people who are committed to misunderstanding you.

Can I say it plain? Stop trying to help people who don’t want God… while ignoring what God is trying to do in you. Every critique doesn’t deserve your attention. Every opinion doesn’t deserve your energy. In fact, if someone doesn’t have enough wisdom to advise you, they certainly don’t have enough authority to criticize you.

So don’t let compliments go to your head… but don’t let criticism take root in your spirit either. You are too high to come down for foolishness. Too anointed to argue with confusion. Too blessed to be distracted by noise.

There’s a reason they know your name… and you don’t know theirs. There’s a reason they’re watching you… and you’re not watching them. It’s not arrogance—it’s alignment.

So today, make up your mind: “I’m not coming down. I’m not explaining myself to everybody. I’m not responding to everything. I’m going to stay right here… and do what God called me to do.”

Because where God is taking you… there’s no room for unnecessary baggage, no space for petty conversations, and no time for distractions disguised as people.

Stay focused. Stay elevated. Stay obedient. And whatever you do…

Don’t come down.
